December is a fairly quiet month on GSW’s campus as students are gearing up for finals and then a nice, long Christmas break. However, there are many basketball games to enjoy and our most special event of the year – Graduation. Thank you for helping us share these events with the community!

December 1-13 – Senior Art Exhibitions

9:00am – 5:00pm | James Earl Carter Library Gallery & Fine Arts Gallery, Room 114

Two senior solo art exhibitions will be on display for the campus and Americus community to view. Amber Moore’s ‘In the Round’ is located in the James Earl Carter Library Gallery and Josh Morgan’s ‘A Sense of Direction’ is located in the Fine Arts Gallery, Room 114.

December 4 – Women’s Basketball

3:00 pm – Lady Hurricanes (vs. Albany State) | GSW Storm Dome

Free admission with GSW ID, $5 General Admission, 12 & under free

December 13 – Women’s Basketball

5:30 pm – Lady Hurricanes (vs. Brewton-Parker) | GSW Storm Dome

Free admission with GSW ID, $5 General Admission, 12 & under free

December 17 – GSW Graduation

11:00 am & 3:00 pm | GSW Storm Dome

Graduates from the College of Business and Computing, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the College of Arts and Sciences will walk in the 11:00 am ceremony. Graduates from the College of Education will walk in the 3:00 pm ceremony. Both ceremonies will be live streamed on GSW's YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.

December 20-24 – All offices closed for Christmas Break
