Dougherty County Health Officials Update the Community on the New Omicron Variant

As of Friday, there are only 13 patients in all of Phoebe making it the lowest COVID-19 numbers the county has had since the beginning of the pandemic, according to Phoebe Emergency Department Chairman James Black.

Dougherty County held their weekly COVID-19 task force meeting with updates from Black, Albany Mayor Bo Dorough, Southwest Georgia Public Health Director Dr. Charles Ruis, and County Coroner Michael Fowler.
