What's Happening at the Flint RiverQuarium

Join us for trick-or-treating fun at the Flint RiverQuarium and Throntateeska, and along the "Candy Path" (aka Riverfront Trail) as well! All candy stations will located outdoors at both locations. The Flint RiverQuarium exhibits will also be open to visit during the event.
Admission may be purchased at either location. Artesian Alliance members are FREE.

Tadpole Time

Every month at Tadpole Time we'll be exploring a different environmental theme for our youngest visitors! In October, we are checking out some (not so) spooky animals! We'll be visiting the Gila Monster exhibit, reading "Gila Monsters You Meet at the Airport," learning about spiders and making spider hats to take home. Enjoy the Flint RiverQuarium on your own after our time together. Tadpole Time is designed especially for parents and pre-schoolers, but all ages are welcome It's FREE with your RiverQuarium membership or with regular admission.

Adventure Seekers

With a different theme each month, our Adventure Seekers program is the perfect family outing! Free for RiverQuarium members or with regular admission

Regularly scheduled programs each Saturday and Sunday are designed to provide opportunities for our visitors to get up-close and personal with our animals. Blue hole dive shows, aviary feedings, tank talks, and animal chats all give a more in-depth look at individual exhibits and animal behavior.

Kaluoka’hina, a gloriously colorful tropical reef, is under a spell: It is undiscoverable by men. Kaluoka’hina’s colorful inhabitants have thus always lived in peace, until the volcano erupts, and the spell is broken. Now it’s up to Shorty and Jake to restore the magic of Kaluoka’hina.

Alligator Kingdom

Exploring Georgia's own Okefenokee Swamp, Alligator Kingdom educates viewers on the swamp's complex ecosystem and the vital role that this feared reptile plays. The filming and photography offer a look into the more remote and inaccessible areas of one of the last great blackwater swamps.
