The Toys for Tots coordinator is scheduled to kick-off the 2021 Toys for Tots toy-collecting campaign here Thursday, Oct. 7 at 9:30 a.m., in front of Building 3500. 

Toys for Tots is the largest Department of Defense outreach program and serves as an avenue for the Marine Corps’ charity organizations and the local community to provide toys for underprivileged children. 

HM1 Alexander Collins, Toys for Tots coordinator, and Capt. Rebecca Sullivan, corps officer, Salvation Army, will provide information to the media about how to register and/or participate in this year’s campaign. 

Media wishing to cover the kick-off event should call the Communication Strategy and Operations Office at 229-639-7313 to RSVP, and plan to be at the main gate no later than 9:15 a.m.
