Dougherty County Commissioners Talk Pay Raises for Law Enforcement, First Responders

Low staffing levels at the Dougherty County Jail has led to a discussion of pay raises for employees of the sheriff's office, EMS, and county police.
The idea was presented to the finance committee on June 23 by the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office and their concern for their critical need for staffing.
