Dougherty EMS Receives New Vehicle for Trauma, Mass Casualty Incident Care

Dougherty County EMS, through a partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health, has received a new vehicle to help care for patients suffering from trauma and people involved in a mass casualty event.

Dougherty County officials say the vehicle is fully equipped with rapid emergency medical treatment supplies for a disaster site along with additional supplies to treat and move an additional 30 victims from a mass casualty event to a rapid triage and treatment location nearby.
