Colony Bank Expand Treasury Management Division

Colony Bank today announced that it has expanded its Treasury Management division with the addition of three seasoned team members.

Commenting on the announcement, Kimberly C. Dockery, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, said, "We are very pleased to welcome Thomas, Tim, and Katharine to Colony Bank and look forward to their contributions. These additions to our team will enhance the treasury services we provide our corporate and business clients and allow us to better serve our communities."

Thomas Ware, who will serve as Treasury Management Officer, has been in the banking industry for 30 years. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Treasury Management, for Cadence Bank, N.A. He brings a wealth of experience in Treasury/Cash Management products and services as well as Bank Operations. Ware holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of West Georgia and is a graduate of both the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and the GBA School of Banking at the University of Georgia. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees at Clayton State University, the Rotary Club (Newnan, Ga), and the Kiwanis Club (Fort Valley, Ga), as well as various other professional organizations. Thomas and his wife Angela reside in Griffin, where Angela taught for over 30 years in the Griffin-Spalding county school system, and they are faithful members of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Griffin, Georgia.

Katharine Ladson, who joins Colony Bank as Treasury Implementation Specialist and Banking Officer, has been in banking for over 15 years. Ladson served the past two years with Cadence Bank in Macon, GA, after their merger with State Bank & Trust Company, where she served more than seven years. Her role with Cadence Bank has been as an Implementation Project Partner, where she managed Treasury implementations for commercial clients. Prior banking experience includes serving as Client Care Specialist and Treasury Services Specialist at State Bank & Trust Company; Retail Services Specialist at Atlantic Southern Bank in Macon, GA, and briefly at CertusBank after the acquisition; and Community Banking Associate at River City Bank in Rome, GA. Katharine received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at Berry College in Rome, GA, and she earned her Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification in 2014. She lives in Macon, GA, with her husband and 3 children, where they are active members of Vineville Baptist Church.

Tim Richardson, who will serve as Treasury Implementation Specialist and Banking Officer, has 12 years of banking experience. His most recent position was as Implementation Project Partner with Cadence Bank, consulting with clients and advising on solutions and strategies to manage their cash flow more efficiently. Richardson has held several roles with Cadence Bank (previously State Bank) including Treasury Services Specialist, Relationship Management Assistant, and Senior Client Relationship Representative. Richardson is a Graduate of Valdosta State University and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. He is active in the community and has partnered with United Way of Atlanta during their College Bound events to assist Title One school students with completing their Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and providing financial literacy education.
