Albany Commissioners Vote Against Transitional Home

The City of Albany commissioners denied the request to create a safe house for previously incarcerated women.
Earlier this month, Kathia Collins proposed to change Haven for Hope into a house for women transitioning back into society after serving jail time, but a petition was made by neighbors to deny the request.
