Flint RiverQuarium & Thronateeska to Host Winter Break Camps in January

Wednesday, January 6th, 2021

In an effort to meet the needs of local parents and students whose schools have delayed their post-holiday return to the classroom due to COVID-19, the Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska will host Winter Break Camp: Snow Days the entire week of January 4-8. Geared for ages 5-12, the camp will explore the wonder and science of snow and just how animals survive. Campers will take daily trips to the Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska, meet new animals, and enjoy daily games, activities, and crafts.

Camp runs daily from 9 am-3 pm with camp after-camp care options also available. Parents can sign up for individual days for $30 each or can register for the entire week for the discounted rate of $130. After-camp care is $10 per day. Members of the Flint RiverQuarium or Thronateeska receive a 10% discount on camp and half-priced after-camp care.
