Dougherty County School Officials Breakdown eSPLOST Referendum

If you're just heading out to vote, you may notice a new referendum on the ballot to allow eSPLOST funding for the Dougherty County School District.
According to Dougherty County school officials, eSPLOST funding has generated 80-90 million dollars for the district in previous years. Officials are now on the sixth cycle. That funding will be used for capital projects and facility improvements to several elementary, middle and high school campuses across the district.
