THE ALBANY SOUTHWEST GEORGIAN Newspaper and the Second Mount Zion Baptist Church Youth Ministry have scheduled a mask giveaway on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  The location is 407 South Slappey Boulevard in Albany, also known as the Keys Building.  Corona Virus safety information will also be made available.  The masks were donated by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  The event will be a drive up.  You are encouraged to wear a mask and remain in your car.  Availability will be first come, first served basis.

The masks are soft 3-ply 100% cotton, washable and reusable, wicks away moisture, adjustable nosepiece for better fit and breathable.  They are all black.

State Representative Winfred Dukes, House District 154 and Commissioner Gloria Gaines, Dougherty County District 5, are also sponsors of the event.
