Staff Report

Monday, July 6th, 2020

Several of Dougherty County’s county-owned facilities have been closed for rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the county’s most rented facilities, Robert Cross Park, is scheduled to reopen for rental on July 6th, which is also part of Dougherty County’s Phase Two for Government reopening.

Located at 3085 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Robert Cross Park, is a multi-purpose fa- cility that can be used for events such as family reunions, weddings, receptions, baby or wedding showers, group meetings and classes, and more. The facility also contains eight shelters that may be rented out separately. Tables and chairs are available for use within the building facility.

The daily rental cost is $400 per day, with a $200 damage deposit, which is refundable if there are no damages at the end of the event. Shelters are available for rent at $40 per day. Smoking, drugs and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited from use at this facility.

Due to current construction on the Radium Springs Memorial, Radium Springs Garden will not be open for rental at this time. For more information about Robert Cross Park
