The State of Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR) has extended the Vehicle Registration deadline through June 15, 2020. The Dougherty County Tax and Tag Office will continue to work to process tag renewals.

In compliance with social distancing guidelines still in effect for COVID19, the Dougherty County Tax and Tag Department will remain closed to the public until further notice, with staff teleworking to handle calls and emails during regular business hours. Staff will also be working in the office at least twice per week to maintain the work flow to process and mail tag renewals.

Dougherty County citizens are urged to utilize the Georgia Driver Record and Integrated Vehicle Enterprise System (DRIVES) on the DOR website for services by visiting dor.ga.gov.
