Governor Brian P. Kemp recently made a formal recommendation to the Georgia Student Finance Commission Board of Commissioners to elect Caylee Noggle as the agency’s President. Following the Governor’s recommendation, the Board voted unanimously on Monday morning to confirm Mrs. Noggle in that role. She will also serve as President of the Georgia Student Finance Authority (GSFA) and the Georgia Higher Education Assistance Corporation (GHEAC).

“Caylee’s experience in state government and higher education make her uniquely qualified to lead this agency. As President of GSFC, I know Caylee will ensure hard-working Georgia students and their families have access to the resources they need to plan and pay for college,” stated Kemp.

Mrs. Noggle has over 15 years of state government and higher education finance experience. After serving in various roles at GSFC, Noggle served as the Director of the Physical and Economic Development division in the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, where she had budget and policy oversight for more than 20 state agencies. Noggle returned to GSFC in 2015 to serve as Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer, before being named Interim President in October 2017. Prior to joining GSFC in 2005, Noggle served in roles at the University of West Georgia and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she also earned a master’s degree in College Student Affairs. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. She is active in numerous industry associations and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Education Finance Council.

“Over the past year and a half, Caylee has provided outstanding stability and leadership as GSFC’s Interim President. After watching her accomplishments, we are delighted to confirm her as the permanent President of GSFC. Her knowledge of student financial aid and previous experience in state government will continue to be a tremendous asset to the students of Georgia,” said Dr. Sarah Beck Hawthorne, Chair of the Georgia Student Finance Commission Board of Commissioners.

Caylee and her husband, Tom, live in Atlanta with their son and are members of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
