Albany City Commission Approves $1.7M Contract for New Sewage System Company

In a 3-to-1 decision made Tuesday night, the Albany City Commissioners approved a recommendation from the Utility Board to hire a new company to provide maintenance and operation of the City of Albany's Wastewater Treatment Plant and pumping stations beginning on July 1. The only no vote came from City Commissioner BJ Fletcher.
