GDOL Teams with Firms to Host Job Fairs

The Georgia Department of Labor is partnering with an organization that helps individuals find jobs and a company looking for employees to present job fairs in the area later this month.

GDOL is teaming with Labor Finders of Cordele for a job fair that will be held on March 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Labor Finders of Cordele, 2010 D Central Ave., Cordele. The firm is looking for CDL drivers, lab technicians and welders.

Department officials will later partner with Mortenson for a job fair that will be held on March 24 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Blakely Civic Center, 170 Rose Drive, Blakely.

Mortenson will be seeking employees for a number of positions, including carpenter, electrical project manager, heavy equipment operator, general laborers, solar craft safety administrator, ORTECO solar operator, equipment inventory, master licensed electrician, electrical superintendent, and an assistant electrical superintendent.
