Albany Base Officials Set to Observe Women’s History Month Today

Base officials are scheduled to observe Women’s History Month with a program at the Town & Country Grand Ballroom here on Tuesday, March 19 from 11:30 – 1 p.m.
The event is free and open to anyone with base access.
The theme is Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Nonviolence and the keynote speaker and special guest is Mrs. Karla Heath Sands, anchor of WALB’s noon and evening news.
Media wishing to attend the event should confirm attendance and arrive at the base’s main gate at 11 a.m. for proper escort.
