With the deadline for the second pass of debris pickup approaching at the end of this week by the United Army Corps of Engineers/Ceres, Dougherty County citizens can be assured that Dougherty County is working diligently to finalize plans to con-tinue debris pickup after Friday.

Dougherty County continues to work to ensure debris removal will continue by opening a bid for con-tinued service, which is scheduled to open around January 23, 2019. The county staff plans to make a recommendation soon after the bid opening for approval by the commission board and debris re-moval service is anticipated to resume no later than mid-February.
