AB&T Announces Two Promotions to Start New Year

Albany’s AB&T is pleased to announce the promotions of Brad McEwen and Tina Marbury, who have been named Vice Presidents of the bank.

McEwen, who has been with AB&T since April of 2016 as Communications Manager, will now serve as Vice President of Branch Banking and Brand Execution. Marbury, who joined the bank in February of 2016, will be taking a more active role in AB&T’s accounting and financial performance while continuing in the role of Senior Credit Analyst.

A long-time resident of Albany, McEwen has been in banking for more than a decade, serving in numerous capacities, including retail sales, management and marketing. In his new role, he will oversee AB&T’s branch network, while continuing to be involved in the strategy and execution of the bank’s marketing. Additionally, he will continue to produce AB&T’s popular Beyond the Bank series.

McEwen holds an Associate of Arts in English from Darton State College, as well as BAs in English and Religion from the University of Georgia. McEwen is also involved in various civic and community organizations, including currently serving on the board of Leadership Albany, of which he was a graduate in 2010, and the board of The Anchorage faith-based recovery center.

A native Albanian, Marbury has nearly 20 years of experience in banking, primarily working in the areas of credit analysis and accounting.

Marbury is a graduate of Albany’s Deerfield-Windsor School and holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management from Georgia Southwestern University. Additionally she holds an American Bankers Association certification in Bank Financial Management and was a graduate of the Leadership Albany class of 2008.

Marbury is also involved in multiple community, civic and faith-based organizations, including currently serving as treasurer of the local advisory board of the Salvation Army and being an active volunteer at First United Methodist Church in Albany.
