Dougherty County Sheriff, Kevin Sproul, will host the an-nual “Shop With the Sheriff” day on Thursday, December 20, 2018, beginning with lunch at To-kyo Japanese Steak House at 11:00 a.m. and shopping at Target at approximately 12:15 p.m.

This year, nearly 25 Dougherty County children that are less fortunate will be treated to lunch and taken Christmas shopping. An additional 20 to 25 children who will not be able to attend the event will be provided for. The event is made possible from a golf tournament, donations from the public, and various community fundraising the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office holds each year.

In addition to this event, the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office deputies visit schools throughout the year conducting various programs such as intervention, mentoring, and more.
