New School Year Launched at Andrew College

Faculty and staff gathered the week of August 6 to launch the new school year with meetings and informational sessions. Topics of discussion ranged from technology to new staff to enrollment to classroom ideas.

New faculty and staff joining the college are:

Nataliya Apanovich, assistant professor of sustainable agriculture

Katherine Brasher, head women's soccer coach

Kathryn Brown, assistant professor of respiratory therapy/program director of respiratory therapy and division coordinator of allied health

Kirsten Cochran, academic instructional support specialist

Charles Dolberry, associate professor of mathematics

Alexander Doyle, assistant dean of student affairs

Taylor Jones, head men's soccer coach

Gavyn Long, associate professor of mathematics

James McCoy, dean of student affairs

Cayla Moore, head women's basketball coach

Justin Newton, head men's basketball coach

Spencer Sealy, vice president for advancement

Chris Serafin, assistant professor of business

David Slauenwhite, assistant professor of mathematics

Joshua Temples, assistant professor of English and Director of IWRC

Also, two faculty members have new responsibilities.

Amanda Knight is now the coordinator of program development and accreditation. She will continue teaching on a part-time basis.

Farrah Senn is now the coordinator of student retention, strategic planning and regional development.

She will continue teaching on a part-time basis.
