School Nurse Partnership Highlighted at Phoebe Board Meeting

The president and CEO of Phoebe Putney Health System along with the board chair of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital lauded the partnership between the hospital and the Dougherty County School System Monday night while showcasing the organization's school nurse program. 

Phoebe Network of Trust has administered the school nurse program for the last 15 years; providing board-certified, high-quality nurses to the district's schools at no cost to the taxpayers of Dougherty County. 

Phoebe CEO Joel Wernick and Board Chair Dr. John Culbreath each expressed their appreciation to the Dougherty County Board of Education for continuing the program and their gratitude to the nurses who make the program happen.

Angie Barber, director of Network of Trust, gave a powerpoint presentation on the impact that the program is having on the students and families in Dougherty County.

Network of Trust recently won a statewide award from Voices for Georgia's Children, an organization that spotlights and herald's the work professionals across the state are doing to enrich the lives of youth.
