The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate this week's star business, Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church! Porterfield, established 62 years ago, is a fellowship where families grow, disciples are made, neighbors are served, and life finds meaning through Christ. Ministries are offered for people of all ages, and as a missions-minded church, this includes praying for each of Albany's 1,033 streets throughout 2018. On being a member of the chamber, Communications Director Lisa Burton says, "We are grateful to be members of the Chamber of Commerce, as we want the community to know that we are fully part of the community in which we minister.  Being a member enables us to be connected to the businesses here in Albany and more aware of ministry needs around us."
