Georgia Southwestern State University launched its newest version of www.gsw.edu.

“Our website is the University’s number one marketing tool,” said GSW President Neal Weaver, Ph.D. “It is critical for prospective students to have a positive impression of Georgia Southwestern, and in the age of technology, that first impression is almost always a visit to our website. I am confident the new look of www.gsw.edu will give a good impression.”

This latest iteration of GSW’s website focused mainly on refreshing the design, featuring full-screen imagery on the home page and subsequent pages throughout the site. Only subtle improvements have been incorporated to the navigation and content structure.

“GSW’s Web developer, Tatiana Baeva, has logged many hours on this project,” said GSW’s Stephen Snyder, who has overseen the project. “Tatiana and web development student assistant Brenton Bazemore have done a really good job incorporating new features and structural improvements.”

The overall navigation and functionality of the site has not changed, and frequently used links remain easily accessible at the bottom of every page.

Planning for the new site began in summer 2017.
