SBA Deadline for January Storm Loans Looms Near

The U.S. Small Business Administration is alerting businesses and non-profits that were affected by January storms that working capital loans are still available until October 26.

“Businesses that suffered economic losses as a result of the disaster and want to apply for low-interest loans from the SBA are urged to do so before the Oct. 26 deadline,” said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA Field Operations Center East.

The loans are available to those in the following counties: Atkinson, Baker, Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Calhoun, Coffee, Colquitt, Cook, Crisp, Dodge, Dooly, Dougherty, Grady, Irwin, Lanier, Lee, Lowndes, Mitchell, Pulaski, Sumter, Telfair, Terrell, Thomas, Tift, Turner. Wilcox and Worth in Georgia; Jefferson and Leon counties in Florida.
