The Engineering and Technology Department at Radium Springs Middle Magnet School of the Arts received a generous donation from Atlanta Gas and Light Company.

Frank Pitchford, Senior Trainer of the Southern Company (the parent company of Atlanta Gas and Light), personally delivered a gas meter prop to Gloria Clemons, Radium's engineering teacher. The gas meter prop will aid in teaching students about natural resources and the careers associated with these resources.

"I am excited about the willingness of Atlanta Gas and Light to partner with us as we strive to develop future engineers. We will definitely be working to see that, down the line, Atlanta Gas and Light will realize a major return on their investment," Radium Principal Dr. Valerie Williams said.
