Jason Rooks Named Chairman of The Community Bankers Association of Georgia’s Leadership Division

The Community Bankers Association of Georgia’s Leadership Division named Jason Rooks, Senior Vice President/Commercial Lending Manager, Flint Community Bank, Albany, as Chairman of the Leadership Division at the 39th Annual Leadership Division Convention and Mini-Trade Show held June 22-25, 2017 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, FL.

“We’re pleased to welcome new and returning members to the CBA Leadership Division Board of Directors,” said Rob Braswell, President & Chief Executive Officer of Community Bankers Association. “With such a knowledgeable and motivated group of community bankers on the LD Board, we’re anticipating another very productive year. Jason Rooks has been in banking for 15 years and is currently a Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Manager with Flint Community Bank.  Rooks is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and The Georgia Banking School.  Rooks currently serves on the board for The Anchorage of Albany.  He is a member of past graduating classes of Leadership Albany and Leadership Lee.  He and his wife, Amanda have three children, Preston, Calley, and Smith and they are active members of Greenbriar Church in Albany.
