DQ Blizzard Treat Sales to Benefit Children in SWGA

Staff Report From Albany CEO

Tuesday, July 25th, 2017

It has been hot in Southwest Georgia this summer, but Dairy Queen is giving you a great reason to cool off with one of their tasty treats, blizzards!  On Thursday, July 27, participating Dairy Queenlocations in Southwest Georgia will come together to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network at Phoebe. Last year, local Dairy Queens raised just over $21,000 and this year they are hoping to raise more.

“We are so thankful for everything that Dairy Queen does for our local kids! Dairy Queen is our second largest donor to CMN at Phoebe, raising over $21,000 last year, $1 at a time. Buying a blizzard July 27 is something small our community can do to make a huge difference in the lives of our children in Southwest Georgia,” Said Becca Miller, CMN Coordinator.

During Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold will be donated to CMN Hospitals, which raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. Funds raised at the below participating locations stays local and directly helps children in need:
