The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) announces a class focused on marketing using the global networks Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube in Albany on April 27, 2017. In this class, business owners and managers will learn how using simple strategies to stand out can help in promoting their business and driving sales. Learning tricks of the trade will help get businesses growing by being more visual.

Heather Sharpe, Business Consultant for UGA SBDC in Albany and one of the instructors for this program, has this to say about the program:

"Visual content, particularly on social media platforms like Pinterest and Instagram, is becoming increasingly more important for marketers.  Customers are more likely to be engaged with visual content, and the information presented visually is more likely to be recalled.  Videos have also become powerful tools for small businesses looking to communicate more easily with their audiences.  We have increasingly short attention spans and brands need to leverage images and videos to quickly share their story."
