LOGCOM Summer Intern Position Reannounced
Thursday, April 20th, 2017
Due to an inadequate number of qualified applicants who applied for the summer intern laborer position at Marine Corps Logistics Command, the job has been reannounced.
Approximately 15 positions still exist and prior applicants who were found to be ineligible are encouraged to reapply. The position will close on Friday, April 21, 2017.
The majority of ineligible applicants failed to submit required documentation; more specifically, they failed to show their educational pursuits are ongoing.
Examples of acceptable educational documentation include confirmation of registration for the fall semester of college, a letter from the high school career counselor validating continued education, etc. A high school report card is not considered proof of continuing educational documentation.
To apply for the aforementioned position, student applicants must go to USAJOBS.gov and submit an electronic application, which includes uploading a resume or creating one in USAJOBS.
The job announcement number is SW73401-011932296R1629188P.
It is imperative that applicants review the entire job announcement to ensure they complete the application process, as the job announcement annotates what supporting documentation must be submitted and will link to initial online questionnaires and competency-based assessments that may be required.
