Worth County School Board Names New Interim Superintendent

The Worth County School Board has named a new Interim Superintendent after a Wednesday board meeting.
Board members accepted the retirement request of Kay Mathews and have announced the hiring of Dr. Larry Walters.
Walters served as Lee County Superintendent for 12 years and has served as an Interim Superintendent in Sumter County.
Worth County Board of Education Chairman Butch Jenkins says that the board "looks forward to his leadership as Interim Superintendent until our superintendent search is complete."
