Staff Report From Albany CEO

It all started with a hair cut.

A group of men, each witnessing problems stemming from a lack of male role models, were upset. Rather than just talk about it, they did something about it. MEN United of Albany works with West Town Elementary to fundraise and mentor the youth of the school.

On Monday, the group presented Principal Steven Dudley with a check for $300 to go towards buying bicycles for the school's Leapling Lexiles program, which rewards those students who improve their reading scores with a new bicycle.
