The Piedmont National Corporation and the Tift County Development Authority are excited to announce the start of construction on a new distribution facility in Tifton.

The Piedmont National team, working in partnership with Brian Marlowe, President and CEO of the Tift County Development Authority and the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce, and Jonathan Jones of Jones Construction, has developed a design which will allow for continued expansion and serve Piedmont National well into the future.  Company officials expect to be operational in Tifton by early summer.

According to Jerry Milner, Piedmont National Executive Vice President, “Our Tifton location will allow us to continue serving our existing customers and expand Piedmont National’s ability to reach a larger geographic area with regularly scheduled delivery capabilities.”

“In association with a shift in coverage areas for our Dothan, Alabama facility, our new location will offer twice weekly deliveries into the Macon, Georgia area and weekly deliveries to most other areas in South and South Central Georgia,” Milner said.  “The Marx Family and all Piedmont National Associates are very excited to continue our growth in such a dynamic area as Tifton and look forward to being an active member of the community.”
