Albany ARC Requesting Silent Auction Items
Wednesday, March 29th, 2017
We need your help. We are currently planning a Cinco de Mayo fundraising event on May 5th to raise money for Camp ARC, a day camp that will serve area children with special needs. Running for seven weeks over the summer break, Camp ARC will focus on skills training, social inte-gration, and fun, engaging activities—just like at any great summer camp. Students with ongoing occupation-al, physical, and speech therapeutic needs will have streamlined access to continuing care at ARC’s Kids’ Cor-ner Child Development Center.
Featuring dinner, drinks, dancing, and live music by Jose Tongol & the Yoyos, our fundraising fiesta will also in-clude a silent auction to help us bolster our fundraising efforts to serve even more of our community’s children and families this summer.
All proceeds earned from ticket sales and your generous, tax-deductible donation of an item or gift certificate will go toward Camp ARC. As one of Southwest Georgia’s leading non-profit providers of services for individuals with disabilities and their families, Albany ARC appreci-ates your continued support and partnership.
All contributors’ names will appear on the program auc-tion list, in addition to being featured in social media cov-erage. You may also include business cards and bro-chures with your item.
Established in order to meet the growing community need for extracurricular services for special needs stu-dents, Camp ARC allows us to expand our mission to provide inclusive, empowering opportunities to more children and families in South Georgia. With your help, ARC can help bridge the services gap for the almost 3,000 students with disabilities currently enrolled in Dougherty and its six bordering counties’ public schools.
Thank you for supporting our mission to create life-changing solutions for individuals with disabilities and their loved ones. Please review and complete the attached donation information sheet, and contact Eddie McCarty ([email protected] 229.888.6852 ext. 234 for additional information.)
