Staff Report From Albany CEO

Thursday, January 26th, 2017

The Red Cross announced Wednesday afternoon that they are increasing the number of disaster assessment teams surveying impacted areas.

Workers have been taking food, water and relief supplies into accessible areas where people are focusing on clean-up and repair.

Red Cross workers also have a shelter set up at the Albany Civic Center to help those displaced by the storms.

This will now bring the total to more than 160 volunteers mobilized.
