MillerCoors Donates $15,000 to United Way of Southwest Georgia

The United Way of Southwest Georgia is receiving another $15,000 in a donation from MillerCoors, one of the Albany community’s largest employers.
Marty Maloney, manager of media relations for MillerCoors in Chicago, said the donation is in addition to the initial $5,000 donation MillerCoors made in early January, which the corporation had directed to the Albany Mission Center based on the recommendation of Dougherty County commissioners.
Albany Brewery employees also worked with the United Way of Albany on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to help clean up debris from the Jan. 2 storm.
