Georgia Southwestern State University’s School of Nursing has been honored as a top ranking Online Master’s in Nursing Program and Online Accelerated Nursing Program by AffordableColleges.com and AffordableCollegesOnline.com, respectively.

“I am delighted to have both the online master’s degree program and online RN-BSN program recognized for their quality and affordability,” said Sandra Daniel, dean of the School of Nursing. “Our highly qualified faculty work very hard to ensure that our graduates are well prepared with the appropriate knowledge and skills needed to practice in our profession.”

GSW’s School of Nursing was ranked the third most Affordable Online Master’s in Nursing Program on the list from AffordableColleges.com. To receive this designation, schools rankings were based on their tuition cost, number of students receiving financial aid, net price, and the loan default rate among graduates, enrollment rate, full-time retention rate, graduation rate, and student-to-faculty ratio and number of students using online programs.

GSW offers Nursing master’s degrees in partnership with Columbus State University, allowing for increased course options and academic resources for students. Nursing students can choose from one of four tracks, including nursing education, nursing leadership, nursing informatics and Family Nurse Practitioner.

The School of Nursing ranks #44 on AffordableCollegesOnline.com’s list of the Best Online Accelerated Nursing Programs. To be named to this list, schools were scored on their tuition and fees, financial aid percentage, number of online programs, student to teacher ratio and NCLEX pass rate.
