Watson Spence Wraps Up "Twelve Days of Christmas Giving"
Wednesday, December 21st, 2016
Watson Spence ends its "Twelve Days of Christmas Giving" program by adding one more charity. The Boys and Girls Club of Albany received a $1,000 check in memory of Norman Spence, one of the founding partners of the law firm. Watson Spence has been celebrating the holiday season by donating to local charities since December 9. One charity was selected each day and surprised with a check for $1,000. Each of the Watson Spence partners selects an organization based on a significant personal meaning or because the partner believes the donation can help the organization further its charitable mission.
"Watson Spence has been involved in the community through civic and charitable organizations for many decades," says Watson Spence Managing Partner Faison Middleton. "Twelve Days of Christmas Giving is a way for the firm to serve the community while honoring the spirit of the season."
Charities throughout Albany were honored to receive donations. The 13 charities included Open Arms, Girls Inc., Lily Pad, South Georgia Rails to Trails, Mission Change, Second Harvest of South Georgia, NAMI, The Albany Museum of Art, The Albany Rescue Mission, Challenger League, ASU Foundation, Lee County School System and The Boys and Girls Club of Albany.
