DWS Student Places in National Competition

Rohit Doad, a senior at Deerfield-Windsor School recently placed among the top 43 twelfth graders in the United States in the WordWright Challenge, a national competition for high school students requiring close reading and analysis of many different kinds of prose and poetry.
More than 64,000 high school students from 48 states entered the meet.
The WordWright Challenge is overseen by Upper School Humanities Department Chair Irmgard-Schopen Davis.
