Building a culture that helps our Associates thrive is priority for Mars. From volunteer opportunities to best-in-class development programs, we strive to create a work environment that inspires pride and life-long learning. We’re pleased that our efforts have led to Mars being named one of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces by Great Place to Work in 2016.
“Our people and our unique culture are the true key to our success. Around the world, Mars Associates have the opportunity to make a difference professionally and personally while contributing to the communities where we live and work. It is a true honor to be part of this list and we should all be very proud of this accomplishment,” said Eric Minvielle, Vice President, People and Organization at Mars.
Rising eight spots to number 12, this is the sixth consecutive year that Mars joins the World’s Best Multinational Workplace Top 25. The Great Place to Work assessment is based on employees’ evaluations of their jobs, managers, coworkers, opportunities for training, and support for work/life balance, among other factors. In 2016, competition was stiffer than ever, with approximately 4,100 companies qualifying as great workplaces.
Mars is being recognized for many attributes including our training and development programs, Associate and community programs such as Mars Ambassador Program and Mars Volunteer Program, and the pride Mars Associates take in their work.
Over the past year, Mars has been named on more than 20 national workplace rankings and Great Place to Work® lists, which include: Australia, Brazil, Central America & the Caribbean, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Greater China, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States.
