MCRD Parris Island Personnel Scheduled to Depart MCLB Albany

Conditions have been met for the more than 6,000 recruits and other military personnel to return to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C.
Due to the threat of Hurricane Matthew’s impending landfall along the Gulf Coast, MCLB Albany became the temporary evacuation site for personnel from MCRD Parris Island, S.C., last week.
The commanding officers for Headquarters & Service Battalion, MCRD Parris Island and MCLB Albany have scheduled their media availability for Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 8:30 a.m.
