Lake Park Elementary School was one of 35 schools selected to participate in the Atlanta Falcons NFL PLAY 60 FitnessGram program.

Participants were invited to attend the FITNESSGRAM training session on September 14 at the Arthur Blank Family Office in Atlanta. The training session was intended to enhance and “boost” FITNESSGRAM certification. The session included an Atlanta Falcons PLAY 60 portion as well as FitnessGram testing portion. Teachers also had the opportunity to hear from Atlanta Falcons executives as well as health ambassadors for the state of Georgia.

Special guest speakers were Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Commissioner of the GA department of Public Health and State Health Officer Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald and Atlanta Falcons owner and Chairman Arthur Blank.
