Lake Park Donates Books to Local Organizations

In connection with the Dougherty County School System’s initiative “Albany Reads,” Lake Park Elementary donated books that had been discarded from their library collection to two local worthwhile agencies, the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Albany and Mission Change.
They will use the books to help with student’s reading skills in their after school programs. Mr. Marvin Laster, with the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Albany, is pictured here with Lake Park principal Kenosha Coleman and assistant principal Melissa Freeman.
