On Thursday, September 29, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Albany Technical College will host the ninth annual Careers In Construction event in the College’s Carlton Construction Academy.

The event is geared toward eighth through twelfth graders interested in pursuing a career in the construction and energy fields. Students from high schools within Albany Tech’s Service Delivery Area will have an opportunity to sample of the programs available in the Carlton Construction Academy at Albany Tech.

Students in attendance will be able to get a hands-on experience for each occupational area. Seven areas will be represented, including masonry, electrical, carpentry, welding, HVAC, Heavy Equipment and General Contracting.
