DOCO Credit Union has named Tammy Howell as the credit union’s Lee County branch manager. Howell, a Lee County native and graduate of Lee County High School, has spent the past 17 years of her career in banking. Before that, she worked with Alltel Communications.

As branch manager, Howell is responsible for overseeing the daily operations for the Lee County branch of the credit union. “I’m excited to be part of the DOCO Credit Union team. This position allows me to utilize my professional skills while at the same time helping those in our community,” she said.

Howell’s volunteer service includes the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, Meals on Wheels, Lee County Chamber of Commerce, American Cancer Society and the South Georgia Cancer Coalition. She is a current board member of the Lee County Kiwanis Club. A Leadership Lee graduate, Howell is married with one son and two grandchildren, and resides in Lee County.
