Phoebe Putney OKs Community Needs Assessment, Pursuing Nursing Magnet Recognition
Thursday, July 7th, 2016
The most recent community health needs assessment for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital has been acted on, and a presentation to its Board of Directors gave an overview on the magnet nursing program the hospital is looking to participate in.
Lori Jenkins, director of strategy and planning at Phoebe, outlined to the board on Wednesday the process that has been taken to get to this year’s finalized list of community needs priorities. It started in August 2015, and has included interviews with key leaders who have an interest in addressing health disparities in Southwest Georgia.
