Dougherty County School System Looking for 41 ‘Quality’ Teachers

With the start of a new school year a month away, the Dougherty County School System is in search of 41 teachers by Aug. 2, when the district opens the doors of its 23 schools.
According to the current numbers provided by the DCSS, only five of the system’s 14 elementary schools are fully staffed, all five middle schools have at least one vacancy, and three of the county’s four high schools have at least one unfilled position.
