The Community Bankers Association of Georgia’s Leadership Division Name Jason Rooks as Chair-Elect of the Leadership Division

The Community Bankers Association of Georgia’s Leadership Division named Jason Rooks, Vice President/Commercial Lending, Flint Community Bank, Albany, as Chair-Elect of the Leadership Division at the 38th Annual Leadership Division Convention and Mini-Trade Show held in June at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. 

“We’re pleased to welcome new and returning members to the CBA Leadership Division Board of Directors,” said Rob Braswell, President & Chief Executive Officer of Community Bankers Association. “With such a knowledgeable and motivated group of community bankers on the LD Board, we’re anticipating another very productive year. We look forward with great excitement to working with such a dynamic group.”

Jason Rooks has been in banking for 14 years and is currently a Vice President and Commercial Lender with Flint Community Bank.  Rooks is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and The Georgia Banking School.  Rooks currently serves on the board for Leadership Albany.  He is a member of past graduating classes of Leadership Albany and Leadership Lee.  He and his wife, Amanda have three children, Preston, Calley, and Smith and they are active partners at Greenbriar Church in Albany.
