Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce announces a promotion in a key management position effective April 1. Since the 90’s, the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Authority were managed by one executive. Now, an impressive era of growth has occurred resulting in a need for the two organizations to have their own professional management overseeing the responsibilities of both.

The Board of Directors made the decision to promote Tommie Beth Willis as Interim President of the Chamber of Commerce. Willis will manage the operations and staff of the Chamber of Commerce.

Tommie Beth Willis has been promoted from Vice President of Marketing/Tourism to Interim President. Willis will devote all her efforts on community involvement, promotion efforts and membership benefits.

“We are all excited and feeling positive about this change. Tommie Beth brings much marketing and management experience and has shared some great ideas as we move forward in this transition, says Chamber Chairman Nicole Gilbert. “The entire staff is stellar.”

Willis will work with the Chamber board and staff to enhance communications with our members, increase the Chamber’s membership, coordinate programs and events, and promote Moultrie and Colquitt County.

Willis is native of Colquitt County and dedicated to her community’s success. She is a member of Heritage Church and serves on the Board of Directors for Titus Ranch.
