Preserving Downtown Albany Business District with the Right Signs

Downtown Albany officials are working to preserve and revitalize the downtown area with the right signs.
In April, the Albany-Dougherty inner City Authority approved funding to implement a signage program through the Downtown Façade Program. It simply means officials are working with businesses to provide and make sure businesses have appropriate signage that is in compliance with the historic district requirements.
